I’m often asked about purpose.
And I always think people make it more complicated than it needs to be.
When you wake up, what is it that you truly want to do with your time?
What would you be doing if money and societal expectations didn’t exist?
Like for me, having lost 2 friends of mine to suicide and having also been someone who has dealt with mental health issues, mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental health troubles is a deep passion. And helping people with their journeys and having a better perspective on life is another passion. So that’s why I post everyday, that’s why I started the Grateful Living podcast.
I know what you’re saying, what about practicality?
There’s a practicality to life from a financial standpoint and that’s why so many people end up in jobs for years on end that they don’t enjoy, and don’t ever pursue their true passion in life.
I understand that. Finances are finances, you need to pay your bills.
If that’s your situation, I would just challenge you to then just make time in your hours away from work to work on your true passions in life.
