Emily Neale moved to NYC as a 15 year old to pursue her dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer.

In this clip, I ask about what advice she would give to herself or any artist at that young age.

Her advice: find a therapist. She says, in those early years of training as a pre-professional there are waves of ups and downs with the amount of training, learning, injuries and auditions.

She says therapy would’ve helped her find more self-love and be kinder to herself through the journey of trying to become a professional ballet dancer.
