One of key strategies to becoming mentally happier

One thing I’ve used to become happier is auditing myself, analyzing my week and figuring out what situations/around who and when was I feeling stressed, anxious or very unhappy.

Literally, for a week, I wrote down/journal every time I was feeling more stressed, anxious or unhappy than I thought was normal (obviously, a little amount of stress and anxiety is normal).

After doing that, I asked myself things like:

How can you minimize the activities or people causing me stress, anxiety, unhappiness?

Obviously, everyone is living a different life with different challenges.

But you may ask yourself things like:

Do I need to possibly start looking for a new job? Do I need to cut out certain people who are providing too much negative energy? Do I need to possibly seek professional help to work on traumas from the past?

Live, analyze and improve. That’s the motto.
