If your last interaction with someone was the last interaction with them, would you be happy or somewhat regretful?

Recently, a business colleague of mine passed away. He was only 51 years old.

We had an email exchange 2 days before he passed away.

While I didn’t know him personally that well, he was always cordial and was a pleasure to work with.

His death made me reflect though.

If your last interaction with someone ends up being the very last interaction with them, how would you feel?

I think if you wouldn’t be happy with the way you left someone (i.e. if they passed away and you would have regrets on the last time you spoke to them), I would encourage you to think about reaching out and leaving on better terms.
