Having an all or nothing relationship with something might be a sign you have an unhealthy relationship with said thing.

The other day, a friend mine was sick, but still wanted to go out to a bar.

I asked him why? He said, I don’t want to lose out on a night of possibly meeting someone. I’m so lonely and desperate to meet someone.

While I understand the logic, I said to him honestly, I said, you’re level of wanting to be in a relationship might in an unhealthy state.

Feeling like you can’t miss one night of going out is not necessarily the healthiest attitude to have.

You may need to work on creating a healthier relationship with being single and work on not being so self-conscious.

In most things in life, it’s good to have a healthy balanced relationship with said thing.

All or nothing feelings about something might be a sign you need to revaluate your relationship with that thing.
