Don’t make assumptions about someone’s life simply through watching their social media
The other day, I was catching up with a friend.
From everything I saw on social, I thought she had been living a really good life this past year.
However, from my phone call, I learned this past year she’s dealt with depression, anxiety and a physical assault.
It reminded me: what we see on social media is just a blurb of a person’s life (usually just the positives ones) and we really shouldn’t use it as our method for knowing about a person’s life.
