Don’t let imposter syndrome stop you from becoming great

The other day, a friend of mine was commenting about a friend of ours whose a marathon runner, and said, “Man, you look at his body, he was born to be a runner.”

And I had to challenge my friend and say, no, our friend didn’t start training for races until he was 26. He wasn’t born to be a marathon runner, he worked and became one.

No one comes out of their mother’s womb born to be a marathon runner, a CEO, a leader.

You become whatever you want to become through the hard work, training and dedication you show to a certain aspect of your life.

I think people use “those people were born to do that” as an insecurity to never try and become something greater because they don’t think they’re good enough for it.

You can become who you want to be if you put in the effort and time.
